This is acrylic on paper, using gesso to create the texture. It’s an evening view of Works Head, Rhossili on the Gower peninsular, South Wales.
It’s from a Gower based series of paintings that I’m presently working on.
I’m Huw Blacker, a landscape painter based on the Gower peninsula in South Wales. Working primarily in acrylics and mixed media, I create semi-abstract and expressionist paintings inspired by the rugged Welsh coastline and rural landscape. Welcome to my studio journal.
