Wildflower Meadow - Giclee Print
The original of this painting was created using mixed media and a range of techniques incorporating experimental and traditional methods. I also incorporated gesso into the early stages of the painting, imprinting ferns into the paste which you can see creating subtle textures in the foreground.
I created a sense of distance across the field by using glazes over the distant hills. It aims to capture the abundance you often find in a summer meadow, with the swaying of the plants in the breeze and the low hum radiating from the busy world of the insect life.
This reproduction is printed with a white border surrounding the image - making it easier to fit directly into a standard sized frame. The dimensions given refer to the size of the paper including this border.
The print does not come with a frame.
